A Charming Stay in a Historic Farmhouse

I found the period farm hotel lovely. The surroundings were beautiful. The room was very super clean and cozy and also had character. Annie and William greeted us, they were fantastic.
I noticed some missing elements such as full lighting. Two lights were not working, so the room was somewhat dim. The towels were small and a bit hard.

Self-service breakfast included cornflakes , bread , milk , and a toaster to prepare their meals. Provisions for making drinks were available , however , some items were old. Plates and cutlery were provided in the room for convenience.

The Double Room provided comfort and character with very clean surroundings. A small fridge was included in the room , which was fine. Each room includes an impeccably set breakfast table.

I REALLY enjoyed the selection of breakfast items in my room. They replenished it daily. The owners are friendly and helpful (which I APPRECIATE). The cosy living room was great. I found the farmhouse accommodation warm and comfortable.
The towels were not the softest (but it was fine).

The room included a selection of cereals and fresh bread for toast each day. I found proper ground coffee instead of instant, a VERY welcome addition. Lemon drizzle cake was daily too.

The hotel has a beautiful garden (I loved it!). The AGA in the kitchen worked VERY well. The farmhouse included a lounge with a wood burner, a great spot to meet other guests.

My Double Room overlooked a beautiful cottage garden, and I felt encouraged to enjoy the view. It felt sweet and quirky. I found it a very traditional farmhouse, and the bed was very comfortable.

the garden was beautiful it had some lovely features
the room had missing elements for example two lights did not work the room was therefore dim the towels in the shower room were small breakfast details were misleading i expected a cooked breakfast but it was not provided
